Tate Snyder...AKA "Tater"/"Tater Salad"
from Albion Iowa was killed in a Motorcycle accident 6-7-
2006. If you had ever met him, you'd NEVER forget him!
He's a gentle giant with the biggest heart. He truly lived to
ride and rode to live. There is so much that could be said,
but just wanted to let those of you who may have known
him know that funeral arrangements are being made at
Mitchell Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Burial will be
at Riverside Cemetery and will be lead with a Motorcycle
Procession. His wife has recently been diagnosed and is
being treated with chemo and radiation for Breast Cancer.
Your thoughts and prayers are greatly needed. Final
arrangements will be made tomorrow.

Tate Snyder, 46, of Albion, died early Wednesday morning,
June 7th, near Marshalltown. Funeral services and a
celebration of Tate’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday,
June 10th, at the First Presbyterian Church in Albion with
Pastor Bea Lebuda officiating. He will be laid to rest in the
Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mitchell Family
Funeral Home from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Born on September 30th, 1959, in Marshalltown, he was
the son of Darrell and Lela (Johnson) Snyder. He received
his education in the area of his birth and also attended
MCC.

On January 24th, 1986, at the Methodist Church in Toledo,
he was united in marriage to Patsy Walters. Every five
years, Tate romantically proposed again and they renewed
their vows. Tate was employed at the Iowa Veterans Home
as a utility worker and a nurses aid at Oakview Nursing
Home in Conrad. He will be fondly remembered for his love
of family, helping others with anything, building things,
working with motors and especially motorcycles. He will be
greatly missed by many.

Left to mourn his loss are his loving wife Patsy, five
children: Chad (Angie) Snyder of Melbourne, Gena
Ohnesorge of Melbourne, Matthew Snyder of
Marshalltown, Amber Snyder of Marshalltown and
Brandant Snyder of Albion, six grandchildren; Wesley,
Samantha, Alec, Charlie, Teal and Trinity, and a baby
granddaughter on the way, his parents Darrell and Lela in
Garwin and sister Becky Snyder of Garwin, as well as
numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
In death he has rejoined his grandparents, son Jesse,
grandson Jesse, brother Wade and nephew Derek.

Visitation will be at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home 6-8pm
Friday evening 6-9-06.

The funeral is scheduled for 1:30 Saturday 6-10-06 at the
Albion Presbyterian Church. (Marshall county 330) in Albion
Iowa. **For those of you attending, the family requests that
all bikes park at the community center nearby. This will
assure that all of us are together and prepared for a SAFE
and tight escort.


Burial will be at Riverside Cemetary immediately following.
